Prague is known all over the world as a home for Prague Castle, which was established in 12Th century as the Romanesque Palace. Lobkovic Palace is a sight, which was built by the Pernstein Family since the mid 16Thcentury. In 1627 this palace became a property of Polyxena of Lobkovic. The years 1651-1668 are the ones of its reconstruction and since that very time it didn't change its form any more. It was rebuilt by a talented architect, whose name is Carlo Lugaro.
Since 1983 Lobkovic Palace is a part of the National Museum.
The Royal Summer Palace of Queen Anne (Belvedere) is considered to be the most alluring Renaissance building within the whole city and is known all over the world by its gorgeous architecture. The date of its construction is 1535-1537. The projects of the palace belong to Paolo Della Stella. And it was finished in 1557-63 by another famous architect, named B. Wohlmut.
